Abhayakendram is a registered charitable society under the Kerala Charitable Societies Act. Since 2013, we have been dedicated to supporting economically disadvantaged patients who travel to Thiruvananthapuram for the treatment of cancer and other life-threatening illnesses.
We provide free accommodation and nutritious meals to patients and their caregivers throughout their treatment journey, ensuring they experience comfort, dignity, and compassionate care during one of the most challenging periods of their lives.
Officially inaugurated on 9 May 2013 by former Chief Minister Sri. Oommen Chandy, Abhayakendram welcomes every individual without discrimination based on caste, religion, gender, or language. Our mission is guided solely by genuine medical need and the belief that no patient should face illness alone.

We provide holistic care and essential support for patients and their families through compassionate accommodation, healthcare assistance, counselling, nutritious meals, volunteer services, and community programs—ensuring comfort, dignity, and hope during every stage of their journey.
